If the cavity isn't deep then you will not feel any pain, if it is then you have to take the needle but you can ask your dentist to use a topical anasthetic at the area of injection so you wont feel a thing. just dont expect to be hurt or the pain will come from your subconcious even if you weren't being physically hurt :)

You can't "cure" a cavity. Sometimes the pain will stop for a few minutes, or maybe even days or weeks, but it will always come back worse than before. Sorry, but if you get a toothache from a cavity in an adult tooth, you'll eventually have to visit a dentist who will repair it or remove it completely. The procedure might hurt a LITTLE bit, but nowhere near as much as your toothache, and chances are you'll never feel that same toothache again.

Well the bacteria produced acids which broke down the hydroxyappetite that the tooth is made of. You can begin a program of rinsing your mouth daily after brushing with ACT the flouride rinse. This will actually change the chemistry of the tooth that will make it far more resistant acid. ACT now claims that it now strengthens tooth enamel. You may need your current cavity filled, but you can prevent future ones.

The only painful part is the anesthesia injection. Actually fixing the cavity shouldn't hurt. If it does, ask the dentist for more anesthesia.

The only100% painless dentist is a dead dentist.
Anaesthesia does make it painless. So don't think of it as pain. Think of it it as a temporary discomfort.

No, but the only 100% way is extraction of the tooth. No more pain... ever.
