My God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, does not ask me to die for him(other than forsaking selfishness and self-centeredness). He died for ME. And for that reason I would die rather than to renounce him. He also does not ask me to be a suicide "martyr", killing other people. If Muslims really believed their Allah was so powerful, they wouldn't have to take matters into their own hands. Since Allah is fictitious, not living, he/it/nothing cannot bring about victory for his/its/nothing's followers. The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY says vengeance is his, he will repay. He also tells us, "the battle is the LORD'S." Unfortunately, Muslims have believed a lie of religion called Islam, and one of the lies included in this tangled web of deception is that a suicide bomber, or "martyr" as they believe, will enter a "paradise" consisting of 70 perpetual virgins (sound familiar- like any other religion?) on 70 sheets and the sexual prowess and appetite of 100 men. All this reward they believe they will inherit if they kill only ONE Jew or infidel (someone who is not Muslim). Since men and women who do not know God are naturally filled with lusts for food, sex, power, wealth, etc. this sounds like a deal not to be passed up by those who believe such a lie. And that is why they kill Jews and non-Muslims and themselves. Their false religion commands them to. How tragic is that........

If you will read that most Christians that are martyred for Jesus are in the mission field helping people to have better lives by building them homes or digging wells for water ,teaching them personal hygiene and
the ungodly are afraid that they will loose their hold on the people that
are being helped and told the Good News. The Christian missionary's
give their life before they deny Jesus their Lord and savior.
Muslim leaders are going to put three Christian missionary's to death because they were telling people that God Loves them and gave His Son that they could be saved. The missionary's have done NO harm to anybody. Christian missionary's do not incite violence the people that
worship False Gods and are afraid of Gods Word are the people that cause the violence.
In Christ in Love,

there is a difference between dying and fighting for something. I don't think any religion encourages you to die.. but they do encourage you to fight.
Now as to the question would any religion ask you to fight..
Would god not command you to fight Hitler's Nazi regime? Knowing that he was gonna slaughter people just because they were Jews. If so then what should be the fate of those that do fight the oppresion and die..If not, then just thank god you have never been persecuted.

I'll answer your question even though I do practice a religion. You must understand that I am a Christian and being a Christian we follow in the footsteps that Our Lord left us to follow.
So, I have to say no it doesn't.
Jesus Christ, the Word of God, paid the ultimate price by dying on the Cross for you and me. Praise Him.><>

Christians, like myself are taught that "there is no greater love than that of one who lays down his life for another."
It is my opinion only that it is not necessary nor pleasing and/or acceptable to kill non-combatants, people who are different, don't share your religion, etc.........to demonstrate your love to God.
Many so-called religious persons have perverted religion to serve their own prejudices, hate, and basic human inequities. I'm certain there is a special place in hell for those persons.......

I don't really believe any truly spiritual path would ever ASK you to die just to prove your commitment. Any spiritual leader who tells you otherwise is out to further his own agenda, or bolster his own ego. In a truly spiritual path, life is precious. The most precious in fact. To ask you to give it up just to prove a point seems a little off, doesn't it?

Gos no, its just people who have found they can manipulate people by using religion as the cause. God would never want any of this, but he gave us free will.
