Sleight of hand is difficult, but can be mastered with time.
To make a card appear and disappear, you merely hide the card behind your hand, holding it in place with the sides of y our fingers. Moving quickly, you bring the card forward with a movement of the hand so that the card is seen as coming out of the air, and not behind the hand.
