this really works....swallow dry sugar. a spoonful with a few swallows. the graininess stops the muscle spasms that make hiccups.

I use a tablespoon of pancake syrup or granulated sugar. I heard that it worked and for me it did. I think it is psychosomatic, but who cares if it works?

get a glass of water bend over and drink it make sure it goes to your throat first and then you can stand back up
