My daughter recently got married, and we hunted and hunted, Look on the web...put in cheap bridesmaids dresses, and start the search. JC Penny has some reasonable priced dresses.
Chadwichs, Brylane Outlet, there is several shops listed on the bottom of the home page.....It takes some time, and if the girls sizes varies then be careful with the measurements with ordering on line. Of course, EBAY has a little of everything. I found my daughter's wedding dress that I paid over $1,000 for on their for $600. If you aren't getting married right away, stores will be doing clearence sales, have a rainbow colored wedding. It will take some shopping but you can find them. Congratulations, I wished I had not cleared out my favorites list because I found them by just doing a search on cheap bridesmaids dresses..
Good luck with the wedding, and thank you for being considerate to your bridesmaid and not having them spend a lot of money on a dress that they will never wear again! That's wonderful!
God bless us all...........

I say use ebay. Look in the ebay stores especially. Last night I was surfing around for boots, and almost bought a pair for $80 and thought it was a good deal, and luckily, found the same ones, brand new and everything, for $42. Hey, saved me money. Always try typing in bridesmaids or prom dress in a search engine, such as yahoo or excite, and see what comes up. THOUSANDS do.
Good luck and best wishes

If you don't care if they don't match, just tell them a color and send them out shopping for their OWN dresses. You're making this way more difficult than it needs to be.
However, you really ought to have some sort of reception, even if it's cookies and little cartons of lemonade on the steps of the church with everyone sitting in lawn chairs. It's rude not to "receive" people with a little refreshment after you invite them to a wedding ceremony.

If you are close to New York State, go to Brooklyn. They have wholesale stores where you can find really beautiful dresses for less than $50 a piece. Don't remember the names though, sorry. They have some in Manhattan too, China Town.

They have amazing deals but watch the price for shipping. See if there is a gown shop in your area that offers consignment and rentals. There are two shops here that allow the attendants to rent their gowns. Just look in the yellow pages for "bridal" and "consignment" and see what you come up with. Remember if you order online you will usually ahve to pay shipping and then if they dont fit you need at least a month for alterations. Its better to get what you need in person.

Here is an idea: Let them wear what they want, as long as it's in your color theme and you approve. Individuality is more fun! They don't have to wear "bridesmaids" dresses. I had my bridesmaids wear different colored formals, which they already owned.

no, but one way that would be easier to get a bargain is if you stick with one color for the dresses, but have different styles. then it's more likely that you could find random discounts here and there. if you had to get 5 dresses in exactly the same style, i think it'd be pretty hard to go that cheap.

It's not a guarantee, but try www.theknot.com, they might have some for that price, I'm not sure and J. C. Penny's has some reasonable but very nice dresses. Try there. Good Luck!
