Well, there's not definite way to skip a grade. Your parents can talk to your teacher or principal. Or you can take tests to say you are not placed in a grade where you are being tested in terms of learning new things.

It really only happens during elementary school when a child is years beyond their peers. The only way to do it in high school is too take LOADS of summer school so that you can graduate early.
Just make sure you take summer school at local community colleges b/c summer school at a high school looks really bad for real universities.
Doing it in high school doesnt actually let you skip a grade though. It just lets you graduate early.

Some school systems can administer a test to determine the grade level that a person is on. You should ask your guidance counselor about said test and how you could take one.

You can go to summer school and take the classes you would need for the next year then since you had already taken them you can move up in grade level since they would be easy for you so they would move you up so you wouldnt be borid!

Get really, really good grades, then complain to the principal that you're not being challenged academically. You have to have the good grades to prove it though, or else they won't believe you.
