Is the Antichrist the European Union, or is it a man that will come or has already appeared?

I think the Antichrist is a man, has possibly already been born, possibly already an adult. The EU is just part of the puzzle that is slowly being pieced together. If you watch world affairs, you will see things are steadily getting worse & worse (wars, climate, famine, etc.), then the rapture, and then the Antichrist will reveal himself as the answer to all the world's problems. I say, better get right with God.

There are only 4 verses in the Bible that use the word "antichrist". They will answer your question. They are as follows:

"Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time." (1 John 2:18)

"Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son." (1 John 2:22)

"And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world." (1 John 4:3)

"For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist." (2 John 1:7)

"Antichrist" simply means "against Christ". Anyone who is against Christ is an "antichrist". There have been many, and if the world continues, there will be others.

Notice the above verses (from KJV) do not say "the" antichrist, but they talk about many antichrists. The word "the" is not in the original Greek that these texts were written in. Anyone who is against christ is antichrist, and we should be leary of any who posseses this spirit.

Jesus said, "He (whoever) that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth." (Luke 11:23)

The Antichrist is a man who will come out of the European area. He will be charismatic and very well liked. It's hard to know exactly whether he has already appeared because the truth of who this person is will not be realized for some time after his appearing due to his deceitful nature.

The anti Christ is a spirit. That spirit has been around for a long time. You may see that spirit manifest in any number of individuals, and even the dog and the goldfish, where ever he is allow to operate. Eventually the anti-Christ will boil down to one individual to fulfill the prophecies. He will be very charismatic and he will confuse a lot of people that will think he is Christ. Because of his deceptive ways, he will make the World believe that he is all about peace and good will. His rule as a peace maker will turn bad about three years into his leadership. At that time all hell will break loose as his true identity will start to be revealed and recognized by the elect of God. The people that are the Children of God now and up to the time of what is called the rapture, will be in a state of being that is immune to his nonsense. The best way to avoid all of the confusion and blood shed through the Armageddon period of time is to make a decision to follow Christ now. God has prepared a place for you if you are with Him. For more information, ask the Holy Spirit to come into your life now, so that will be the only Spirit you have to deal with when the rubber meets the road. If God is with you then who can be against you. Even the master of deception, the anti-Christ, will have no power in your life.

1John 4:1-4: Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
2: By this you know the Spirit of God. Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God.
3: and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
Only verses in the Word where antichrist is mentioned. Maybe false prophets (antichrists) are trying to mislead everyone. We should be looking for the beast.
According to 1John 4:3 EVERY spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is antichrist.

The Antichrist is not just one individual man any more than the Christ was just one individual man. The Antichrist is/will be the exact opposite of the Christ. By their fruits you should be able to recognize them.

Most bible scholars believe the antichrist will rise from the European nations, yes. As of yet, he has not been revealed. He very well may be alive, which makes things VERY interesting.

The Antichrist will be the military leader who wil be head of the ten super-nations of Europe. Daniel describes him as the willful king. Blasphemy is his trademark. He will be popular with the profane people who love to curse and use profanity. The ten nations themselves are symbolized by the ten toes of the image found in the book of Daniel.

It will be a man. He may be already here-we do not know. Some believe he has to be a Jew, others think he has to be a Persian. One thing for sure-he will be a charismatic figure. The whole world will love him. He will be so popular that everyone will trust him. He will be a dynamic peace maker.
