Be yourself, don't try to impress her. truthfully those who try too hard in the beginning are real let downs in the end. Chivalry really does work though. Litlle things like please and thank you. DO NOT talk to her chest. Open doors for her. Ask questions you really wan tto know the answers to, so you really are interested in the answers and really are listiening to her rather than trying to be interested. Talk less about yourself, and if you do, keep it short without being evasive.
Ask her about her interest, life experiences.
Just be yourself... don't fill every ounce of discussion, let there be natural pauses.
Listen and definitely make eye contact as you listen.
Be sincere in what you share with her about what you like or notice that is attractive about her.
Basically, allow for easy and less strained conversation -- and last but not least ask her if she has a dog !!!! dog lovers love to tell stories about their dogs.

Look her directly in the eyes, and LISTEN, REALLY listen to anything she has to say...then respond to it appropriately. If you don't understand something -- ask for clarification.
Don't try so hard that you come off as a jerk.
(I've been a jerk myself -- especially when i've been thinking of myself and my feelings more than the person i am getting to know.)
