I'm not running to Jesus because I've already found Him. And I'm not a heretic. And, as for the end being near - it's a relative thing - it IS closer that it was yesterday.

Smart people have had to put up with this crap since the dawn of humanity. The apocalypse has always been near, but it's never happened. Humankind as we know it will never become extict unless Homo saipens evolves. Then it will be a different humankind.

the end was near 1 million yrs ago and the end was near when you were a baby and the end is near now.
the end will always be near.
you never kno when the end is, you just have to be ready every second of your life for when Jesus does come.

If you are really a Christian you should know that your scare tactics are more likely to make people turn away from Christ. We are not supposed to follow him because we are afraid of hell, but because we love him and want to spend eternity with him.
