DO YOU THINK IF I BOUGHT A CAN OF PUPPY MILK AND PUT IT IN A BIG BOWL THEY WOULD DRINK OUT OF IT?

Ok now I don't know about puppy milk at least I've never heard of it but if you are worried that the puppy food is to much for there little systems do what we did. When I was young we bred collies and one of our dogs were Lassies pups. We would take oatmeal and mix it with milk (back then we had raw milk) but if you live in calif. you can still get I believe from the Steuve Brothers Dairy as pet milk. Any way take some oatmeal and mix it with milk until it's almost like soup and to get the pups to try it you have to get them to the bowl and some times put a few drops of it in there mouths to try it once they start eating that you can slowly start them on pup food and that's because there little systems cannot handle a dry food yet make sure that the mix is real runny at first and then slowly make it more solid that should do it and good luck!

What have you been feeding them? You asked about buying puppy replacer milk and putting it in a bowl, what had you been feeding them? They need to fed a puppy milk replacer about every 2 hours, the milk will have directions on when and how much to feed. You could try to get them to drink out of a bowl but I doubt they will. You should only have to hand feed them for a couple more weeks and they will be able to eat dry food(maybe moistened with water)

My kitten was just starting to eat canned soft food at 4-5 weeks. I think that if you left some canned food out 3 or 4 x a day, along with a bowl of water, that they would get the hang of it quickly. Just keep an eye on them. My kitten started eating soft food before she was able to lap up water. I was worried about her getting dehydrated, but I found out that canned food was anout 70% moisture. After a few days, she stopped playing with her water and started drinking it.
You might try to leave a bowl of puppy milk out for them and see if they drink it. They may not have the coordination yet or have figured out how to lap water yet. If they play in it, don't worry too much. That's how they learn about it. They'll figure it out soon.
If they are doing fine on the puppy food, I wouldn't worry about giving them milk.
Congratuations on your new puppies! I think it is awesome that you are willling to get your dog spayed!
Good luck!

Yes get the puppy milk and feed them as much as possible, I had one at 4 weeks and fed her with a bottle about every four hours until she was able to feed herself.

You are doing a great thing. I do rescuing from kill shelters and save them to get them better lives and homes. Puppies you should feed every 2 hours. So their belly's get used to it. If you decide to give them some milk they will love it. My puppies licked it all up. Hope this helps.
