In Revelation it says that Jesus has both "the seven Spirits of God" and the "seven stars." Who are the "seven stars?"
Revelation 1:20 says, "The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches."

So the stars are angels of the seven churches mentioned in Revelations.

The seven Spirits are the seven characteristics of the Holy Spirit....

The spirits represent God's holy spirit flowing in its fullness. Later, John describes them also as "7 eyes" indicating the penetrating vision that God's holy spirit bestows on Jesus. Thus he is able to uncover and handle any situation that may exist. The 7 stars represent the congregation elders and shows that Jesus has the authority to lead them in their shepherding work.

The reference to the seven spirits can be equally translated as the seven-fold Spirit (which would refer to the Holy Spirit).
