My sister and her dog are very very close. My sister had to leave for the weekend, and about a day after she left, my dog hs been shaking, panting heavily, and has been walking very slowly. Is he in shock? And if not, what does he have? And if he is, what should we do? PLEASE ANSWER!!!!!! He is a Chuhuahua.

Well, my sister came home today, and since then he has been much better, though we are keeping a close eye on him. Thank you all for your help.

Your dog is just horribly sad because your dog is so attached to your sister. And it's probable not used to your sister being gone that long. Hope hes going to be all right. If u can, try calling your sister and have her talk to your dog well the phone is next to its ear.

what have u been feeding the dog????????????? Chihuahas are prone to pancreitis, and this can kill them. It could be seperation anxiety, instead of taking chances here take it to the vet just 2 have it checked out it is better to be safe than sorry right?????????//

He might miss her but shaking , panting and difficulty walking sound more serious. he could have a virus, impacted anal glands, be constipated etc. I would get him into your vet to rule out something serious
