that nagging fear is something inside of you telling you to live......
i've been despondant enough before to actually attempt suicide....but for the most part i have been too cowardly to do so... and i think that fear is a blessing in disguise...because things do get better....... they really do....
i know how hopeless and helpless a person can feel while drowing in depression...
i know about grief and loss.......
i know that time really does heal some wounds and that therapy and meds can help heal the others...... they don't ever fully go away....you are left scarred...but think of those as badges of courage.....

You selected diseases as your category. Do you have a chronic debilitating disease like Multiple Sclerosis? It is very difficult to face a life of chronic illness, but many people seem to do so. Sometimes it may help to talk with someone who has a disease similar to yours and find out how they were able to cope with it.
If you have relatives and friends they will be devastated. Even decades from now, it will haunt them. They will always feel that they should have done something to make you feel better. Have you discussed your feelings with your friends and family?
I strongly urge you to contact a hospice near you. They can provide you with pain medication and help with your other needs.
Most poisons affect the body in a horrible way. You would suffer very, very much.
Postponing your suicide for a day or two to explore the options I have suggested should not make a big dent in your total suffering. At least spend some time with your family and friends so that they will have good rememberances and not suffer so much from guilt.

I can't help you to die; and i won't tell you that life is worth living because sometimes is not. In fact most of the time life sucks. But what makes you think that after you die everything will be alright or better? Nobody knows what we are going to find after death; what makes you think you're going to like it? Or that you're going to be in peace?
You are already a courageous person because your still alive. I have also wanted to die before but i found something to live for; myself. Let me tell you something, there is no happiness, just happy moments; so try to have many of those as you can. Nobody finds fulfillment, if we did this world would be full of mediocre people, with no advancement in life. Don't try to find the meaning of life because it doesn't have one. You are the one who gives the meaning to it, so if you want it to hurt and be empty, it will.
I don't know what makes you want to die, but i can assure you that death is not the answer to anything. Is just another symptom of how bad things are getting here, that most of us want to leave this world.
If you're reasons are because of a bad relationship that is the dumbest thing you can do, you are going to have many relationships that mean more that the one that just ended.
If it is because somebody is hurting you (physically or mentally) you should report them to the authorities, they shouldn't be messing with you, and you have the power to make them stop; even if they're threatening you.
If it is with your parents, family or friends; talk to them, sometimes thing are not as bad as they seem; but if they are, then let them be, don't let their words or actions affect you.
If ti is about school or work, things are going to get better.
But if it doesn't have anything to do with anything in particular; it is just the way you feel and you have no problems at all; please get help; things do get better, but you have to open yourself to listen to others and accept their help.
I hope you feel better soon; you and only you can make the things around you change. Be proactive not reactive.

I would pray you never want to do that. You wanted to end your life, because of the uncertainties in the future, relating to things you did not mention. But you would realised that it is another unknown adventure for you after you passed on. Isn't that going to be the same?
Why don't you go and spend your time to research what happens during the dying process, and look for people to talk with regarding NDE near suicide... most regretted it. Look for books that talks about passing on.. you will know, your soul will suffer more by suicide. And after that, there is probably no further way out. Remember, whatever you do, you can't turn back the clock to undo it. So don't. Don't do something you will feel sorry for later.

Wow, I'm so sorry for you. I don't think I know anyone that doesn't want to die in peace. Nor do I know how someone would want to end their life or find a reason to live. Please get in touch with someone immediately if you are serious - call your local information and ask them to connect you to the crisis or suicide prevention center. Another alternative is to go to the following website and use your time determining a reason to live. Life is too short to not use your hardships to your advantage and use them as launching pads to a better you.

I think you have it all wrong Honey. It takes courage to go on with your life when all hope seems to be lost. I promise you your life has value. You may not realize it but your part of the global community and in this imperfect world we really need to look out for each other. Please dont do anything rash. I dont even know you but I dont want to lose you.

killing yourself doesnt require courage....its takes cowardice instead. It is the courage that keeps you alive when you feel like dying.
