God was created thousands of years ago when people were acting like a bunch of friggin idiots. There was complete chaos. Some genius decided to creat a deity that would know what you did at all times and if you didn't straighten out, you were going to get your butt kicked.
In short, No one truly knows when god was created, but why god was created was simply for control.

God was created a long time ago in the minds of people who couldn't explain the universe, and some dude snapping his fingers and creating everything was all they could come up with and it stuck to this day in the minds of millions of idiots with no brain to think logically.

According to the Quran, Allah tells us that He is the only creator and sustainer of all that exists and that nothing and no one exists alongside Him, nor does He have any partners. He tells us that He is not created, nor is He like His creation in anyway. He calls Himself by a number of names and three of them are:
A) The First - (Al-Awal)
B) The Last - (Al Akhir)
C) The Eternal, who is sought after by His creation, while He has no need from them at all. (As-Samad)
He always has existed and He never was created, as He is not like His creation, nor similar to it, in any way.

God was created by early humans to explain the unexplainable. They didn't know what thunder was or lightning was or rains were or any of the natural happenings. Later on God became more sophisticated thanks to all the fairy tales and mumbo-jumbo.

In the ages when men's minds began to develop and they had no clue about their surrondings.They needed something to explain why things happened around them and why. They even thought the world around them was flat and the stars above were kings of past looking down upon them. most people these days still have'nt evolved into intelligent human beings. Maybe they will educate themselves one day[ but, i doubt it]
