Did you flea bomb your house...and use either advantage or frontline on your pet? A bath will only kill the fleas on your pet at the time..fleas can jump right back on the pet after that...and fleas eggs and fleas are probably all over your house...you have to treat your house as well....not just throwing out some rugs, the fleas will just jump off back into the house. Treat your house and use a long term flea treatment on your pet...a bath is basically useless

Fleas will only survive in your house if they have a host. Without a dog or cat to feed from the fleas will die but there are always flea eggs that hatch. Depending on badly your pet had fleas, it may take a while for the eggs to hatch and die. A flea bath is temporary solution, if you still have fleas in your house, they will reinfect the dog. Ask your vet about a flea preventative for your dog. If you have a real problem with fleas in your area your dog may need to be treated several times.

But everything you did will certainly help!

Are talking about having fleas in the house and on the pet? it can take a while to get rid of the fleas. Fleas lay millions and millions of eggs that sometimes lay dormant for periods of time and then hatch out. You will have to continue to treat your house and keep your animal on a flea preventative and remember you can also bring fleas in on your clothing from your yard . So you may have to treat your yard too

Hey we had the flea thing!!!!!!
We went to vet he had great advice.1st have him treated with Revolution it takes care of fleas ticks and also internal parasites as he said "more bang for your buck".He then had us buy "Sevin "Brand spray concentrate. Mix according to directions spray entire house cover fish tanks and turn off filter remove any other live pets.Spray your yard too!!! Once this is dry it is good to go. Treat again in 4-6 weeks that should do it.

Not sure about all that but im a sucker for a homeless pet. When we had fleas i bought a flea fogger from my vet and it worked, fast n easy. Well i had to spend the night in a motel. But free of fleas now I make sure i treat all my animals once a month for fleas

Don't know if this will help now, but a drop of lavender OIL on the bedding and on the back f the dogs neck is supposed to deter fleas. Forget where I read that, but my dog doesn't have fleas so I don't know it effectivness. Good luck- I avoid chemicals at all costs- I have birds and a rabbit in addition to my dog- so I have to be careful

YES It can take a while and you may have to treat the house several times because most flea sprays only kill live fleas, not the eggs, which will continue to hatch and reinfest your home

Great for fleas. sprinkle sevin dust all over, leave one hour. vaccum and dump the bag or cannister out in the trash This will help on the fleas in ur house and on ur dog. And it only costs 6.00 for a bag. You can get this at walmart or a farm supply. It is perfectly safe.
