I'm getting impatient with the bowl of water.....

I just have a little cheap microwave it doesn't have a defrost button :(

YES!

Keep your steak in a bowl of water and put it in the microwave for 15 minutes.

The water will prevent the steak from cooking.

Keep changing the water every 5-10 minutes. The cold, frozen steak cools the water off quickly, so you have to change it frequently for this method to be effective. I do it all the time (I hate microwave defrost). Just be persistent.

Try thawing ur steak in cold water it will thaw out faster and the microwave just makes it tuff to me ....have a great steak :)

There's probably a "defrost" setting on the microwave. I do it all the time.

i wouldn't, you'll end up cooking it in there and that is not a good thing...if you really need to "force thaw" , as they call in the bizz... try running water, not soaking in bowl of water..and use cool water for safety reasons
