16, is the best age to begin group dating. One on one is much too dangerous. Take your time, what is the big hurry to grow up. You have the rest of your life to deal with life's problems, including dating, and becoming emotionally involved with someone.

The right age to date is when you feel you're ready and mature enough to go out with someone and get to know that person. By maturity, I mean that you're able to sit down and talk about things you like, don't like, want to do with you life, etc. Not just talk about video games, playing around, kissing, etc.

The right age is also hen you're able to pay for dinner (guy or gal) by yourself without using your parent's money. If you still need to get money from your mom or dad before you can go out to see a movie, then you're not ready to date.
