There's illegal immigrants in US from other countries other than Mexico?!

People walk from Central & South America just to cross our border. I'm neither pro or anti illegals, but don't you think the situation must be REALLY bad in whatever country it is they come from to have to literally WALK to America? Not to mention those who risk their lives crossing the Atlantic in man-made rafts & boats. You know, I don't hear NE 1 complaining about illegal Cubans or Hatians, Brazilians, etc...

I think it's a pity the way we categorize people based on what a select few do or say. The same way I don't like people to see me as an A**hole cause I'm an American or as a redneck cause I'm from the south is the same way I (try) not to think every middle eastern person is a terrorist, every Mexican an illegal, etc, etc, etc. I think we (and I don't just mean us Americans) need to grow up.

It's so sad to see that racism is everywhere. I hope we don't end up destroying each other

and you call yourself a redneck? sorry but you are to educated to be a redneck, I personally could care less where the illegal immigrants are from just so long as while they are around me or other in this nation that other than being here illegally that they are not out commiting other crimes, I appreciate every single illegal immigrant I work with, the buisness I work at would not be open and do so well if they weren't there, if the doors would even be open at all, and plus they are all very friendly to me, I have no problem with them or any illegal immigrant anywhere who comes here trying to make a better life for him or herself and their families, for every ignorant racist out there who thinks that we really deserve this land try and remember we wouldn't be here if the indians had the weapons we had and we wouldn't have been able to prosper if it weren't for slavery, that and you would do the same thing if you were in that situation, it's not their fault as a person that their nation is poor and in poverty it is their governments just as one day ours will collapse and we will be in poverty here and we will try and illegally cross borders to try and get to a better life, because we would, we all would, if you say otherwise your a liar,anyways I think every person that makes it here deserves to be here or anywhere they want to make it on this planet, racist people are going to have to go, it has to do with the fact that this is the only planet we have got, something is going to have to change, I fear we may wind up having a huge bad era of times because of the way things are now, people followed Hitler during desperate times, things can and will get worse before they get better though you know, sadly that's the way it has to be because we as humans don't seem to learn any other ways than what is the easiest for us

We already know all this!!! The thing is, that the cubans,etc are refugees from a communist country!!! They could possibly, and most likely, would be KILLED if they returned to their homeland!!! This is not the case with the mexican illegals. And, the reason people talk more about mexican illegals, is because the MAJORITY of all illegals are from mexico!!! And,while i have no problem with people immigrating here LEGALLY,( and having a limit as to how many come from each country), i do take exception to those who were marching and demanding 'rights"!!! I don't think it's FAIR, for some people to prosper at the expense of others. And that is exactly what is happening here. When illegals come here,they take social services that are intended for legal citizens, and that is just not RIGHT!!!

Blah, blah, blah. Everyone is aware of the fact that there are other illegals here other than Mexicans. They've all got to go.

Unfortunately for the Mexican illegals, it isn't enough for them to come over here, steal American jobs and suck the social services system and the American taxpayer dry. Did you know that since Bush declared the borders unenforceable terrorist crossings have increased 4x the rate?

Of course we know that. From the way you say that, it sounds like you are just discovering it. More of the illegals here are Mexican than from all of the other countries on Earth put together, but they certainly aren't all Mexican.

You are so correct. I tried to post a question similar. I don't have a problem at all with anti-illegal supporters, but to justify their decision about illegal immigrants they resort to mean comments regarding the entire race. Not one of them answered my question correctly. They just justified it with more degrading remarks towards the race in general. One even said that I considered all Hispanics Mexican from Mexico and I offend Hispanics HELLO I am Dominican. I know the difference!

i have no problem with immigrants as long as they meet a couple basic requirements. That's come legally(i.e. so they pay their taxes and not just wast govt money on peeps who don't deserve them and it forces people to pay them fair wages.) and to speak english. It would be nice if we all spoke the same language. i don't give a **** if people are diff colors or dialects diff culture just speak some english and contribute as a citizen to the country you so want to be a part of. The U.S. also has to allow more legal immigrations. If it wasn't so hard for mexicans to immigrate legally they wouldn't be doing it illegallly. Alot of them die on their way in.
