Being that your friend is still friends with this guy then she should be able to talk to him. Have her sit down and explain the situation to him. I can guarantee that he will see her in a different light. Maybe even begin to like her more for her honesty.

Tell her that if she feels that he really does like her still that she should take a chance and ask him out tell him your sorry and now that you had time to think that you made a mistake and that you had decided that dating someone that you are good friends with and know someone so well that maybe it is a good idea for friends to be more that she didnt want to ruin the friendship they had but wants to give it a try now.

She should ask him out. She can either make it a date date. Or they can go out as friends. Then while they're out she can get a feel for whether he really likes her romantically or not. If the attraction is there she should go for it. Sometimes guys just need a little encouragement.

The simple adult solution here is for her to ask him out. And on top of that, just let him know how she feels. Perhaps he doesnt feel the same way anymore, perhaps he is still attracted. Nevertheless, you friends should definitely make the first move. Perhaps something simple like over coffee.

Leave him alone. He has already been rejected once, and he just doesn't want to go through it again. He may question her motives, but doll she has burned that bridge. Past performance is a huge indication of what the future will hold.

What does it matter? If she asks, he may say yes, he may say no, either way she really isn't risky much. If he says no, who cares, life goes on!!!!! He probably wasn't worth the time. If he says yes, good for her, maybe another oppotunity to build something, even just a friendship. There's really not much of a risk either way, so I say she should go for it. If it's meant to be, it'll happen and whatever happens, happens.

There's no reason why the girl can't be the one to initiate things. It does not need to always fall into the man's lap. She'd do herself, and him, a favor if she tried starting things back up with him. If he's not interested, she'll figure it out real quick when he says so.

Schedule a get-together with these two. All three of you meet and have lunch. Then you excuse your self and just let the romance blossom.
