Ok, you sound desperate. Men can smell desperation a mile away. Desperation will not attract the kind of man you've described, it will scare him away. It will, however, attract the kind of guys who like to take advantage of a desperate girl and use her for his own needs. The best way to find a boyfriend is to make a list of everything you have always wanted to do but been too shy or afraid. Then go out and do as many of them as possible. Focus on having fun yourself, NOT on finding a guy. The guy for you will be someone who enjoys doing the same things as you and he'll be looking for a girl who's having fun, not one who's scoping out every guy in the place.

Be EXTREMELY self confident, and just remember although you WANT to have a boyfriend, you don't NEED one. Guys want what they can't have. So just be a flirt but back off too. Don't let that be your main focus, Its your sophmore year girl. Have some fun and if possible ignore boys your whole life, cause they're all dumb. ;) Im just kidding.

be true to yourself dont try to be someone your not and dont lie about anything will just get you in hell...don't rush to get a boyfriend...it isnt all that great....if a guy likes you make sure he likes you for you....i'm gonna be a sophmore too and i have had my boyfriend for a year in october...we have been fighting a lot lately...its not that great to have a boyfriend...email me if you need anything!!

Build friendships with guys before you get to know them.Then gradually build on that friendship and you might be amazed to see where you end up.
I have found through my relationships that good relationships always start with good friendships.
