You could wait for one to fall from the sky.....
Or you could buck up and face possible rejection and ask someone. What's the worse thing that could happen? He could say No? So what. Ask someone else, or go stag with your girlfriends. Rejection hurts, but it builds character, gives you experience, and teaches you how to be graceful about life's unfairness. Learn to accept rejection gracefully.
There are probably lots of guys that feel like you do, and are afraid to ask someone.
You could get a group of freinds of yours and pick a handful of guys and draw names from a hat. People could switch if they want to. It would take some pressure off.....
Whatever happens, GO TO THE DANCE! Don't let rejection destroy you. You have a backbone so use it. Don't wait around for others to decide what you're going to do with your life.
Have fun!

A lot of times its cheaper to buy tickets as a couple rather than two singles. So suggest to a friend (a guy maybe), that this would be a good way to save a few extra bucks. This way you're not really asking someone out, you're being practical.

do exactly it till now he starts arising a weigh down on u, then issues gets rather awkward! probability is he feels in simple terms as unconfortable talkin approximately homecoming or asking a woman as any teen could b! So the superb thank you to easily get it over with and resolve the subject is to easily collect ur self belief and ask. U could be informal approximately it and in simple terms ask "so what could u think of if i instructed u i could kno somebody that needs to.. blah blah blah." issues r a lot much less puzzling as quickly as we are only str8 forward! good luck!

Yeah, you drop hints that you like him. Talk about Homecoming like, "Who're you going to Homecoming with?" "You excited about going to Homecoming?" "What do you think of Homecoming. I'd really like to go, but I haven't been asked /yet/." ...Stuff like that. :3 Should work if the guy's into you.

try to hint to a guy to let him know your interested. Get extreamly close to him, talk to him alot. online might help cause its much easier to talk to someone online than in person. Kinda make hints to him saying things like "im looking forward to homecomming" or " Homecomming should be fun this year" and then he just might ask you = ] hope i helped.

If you just want to go with anyone, I suggest getting a whole group of friends together and all go together. If you want to go with someone specific, unless he asks you, you have to ask. If yu want to, this ominous task can be made easier if you do plan to go with a whole bunch of friends, and then you all walk over and casually invite him to go with all of you. This works best when either someone in your group or you are already friends with him.

Ask a girl? There's no guaranteed way to have a date unless you ask for one yourself.
