If I was able to I would. I did my part in Nam!
Being over 50 I can not join the military anymore but if I was the age of 18 to 30 I would.

I served 9 years in the National Guard and didn't get activated for anything (& during that time the US fought in about 7 or 8 different countries), not even to shovel snow.
Now I try to volunteer for Iraq and they say I'm too old.

I did not vote for "w", but I have been to Iraq twice and Afganistan once and my Wife is in Iraq for her second tour. But certainly all of the loud mouths on this site should start walking the walk shouldn't they?

Hell no...My hubby is there and believe it or not,more Troops than you know do not even know why they are there. They need to come home!! It is hopeless!
