My husband is a legal immigrant from the UK and we can't seem to get approved for a house! Is there any help for us?

Hey hey hey ... I know for a fact that some illegals have received a mortgage .. without showing any record of income ... it's called an undocumented mortgage ... my friend is a realtor, and according to her, some less than honest mortgage companies do indeed give 100% mortgages "undocumented" .... she sees it every day in her business .... go figure ....

First of all, if you make enough money, you can get a loan. You are not asked your immigration status to get a loan. You are, however, required to proof it when you sign you loan. If you can't get approved, your income/debt ratio may be off, your credit score may be low, or you may be trying to buy overpriced property.
Are you working with a realtor? What have they told you? Have you check your credit reports with Experian and the other companies? Did you know that everyone can get a free report once a year?
Second of all - where do you get this information about the immigrants from? You've checked their papers, looked at their loan documents, talked with their bankers? Or are you just trying to hurt other people because you are frustrated?

There is always a special intrest group out there to profit from the illegals. Sad but true. Hey, when they get deported try to buy it as a repo...big savings...hell, turn them in!

If he would of came here illegally , he would not need to pay taxxes, and he could show more of a income, then he could of got the loan.

What a load of horse ****,people without papers do not get loans for houses,they get deported.
