Get involved with a community theatrical group. Do about 6-10 plays. Chances are that the larger the productions, the easier it will be to weed out the chaf & give you a wider scope with which to focus. Do not 'try' so hard. The involvement should produce a heathy mix of fun & distraction to prevent the 'needy' factor from distorting your perceptions & allow the maximum opportunities of playing the field. Just my personal experience which led to my 36 year marriage.

You never find something you want/need when you're looking for it. Loosen up, have some fun and stop looking. It's only been 10 months! You're going to be alive a lot longer than 10 months right? Enjoy life, live a little. You'll find your true love while you're out there living your life to the fullest, not while you're looking for him/her.

True love takes time to find. It may take only sometimes hours to find love. But true love needs time to testify itself.
If there are no one that comes by for the moment, just be yourself, you may even find there are more time to do the things you always wanted to do, like picking up a hobby. For all you know, you may get to know someone through that.
Go places, join a tour group for singles, go for social clubbing. You will get to meet people, and get to know people... go around talking to lots of people in the group, that is how you make yourself popular... And listen more to people too.. people like to be listened. You have to be yourself and lift up your confidence from where you left shattered in your last relationship. I always see charisma in man/woman who are confident of themselves.
Go pick up dancing... Social dancing -- Ballroom dancing... Hot Salsa, Believe me, it works most of the time! And a plus point is, you get to tone up for a nicer and healthier figure! And that attracts!
Dress up! Feel good about yourself.. True love will find you.
