I second the vote for "What the Dog Did" by Emily Yoffe.
A brilliant and very entertaining book on dogs is "The Other End of the Leash" by Patricia McConnell.

Don't know of any other books, but just finished reading Marley and Me - what a book! I laughed till i cried - this dog was unbelievable! If anyone out there is also a dog lover I highly recommend it.

Yes I like the short stories "Chicken Soup for the Dog Lovers Soul" and James Herot's books especially the one of all dog stories. I also just read the Dogs of Babel but its not really about dogs but its still good.

Millie's Book: As Dictated to Barbara Bush. It is a very cute book and gives you a look inside the White House from the perspective of those living in the White House.

"What the dog did" by Emily Yoffe. It's about a cat person who gets a Beagle, and winds up rescuing them. A really good book!
