I was recently diagnosed with Chronic Mono, which is chronic Epstein Barr Virus. One doc told me I would have this all my life. Another said no. One said I had to sleep it off, another said take follic acid and exercise a few times a week. I have tried both and all I know is I am usually always bone tired and can sleep 24 hours a day and still not feel rested. This is no way to live. Does anyone have any ideas? Please?!!?!?!!

My brother had chronic mono and sounded as upset as you do. The real answer, after close to 7 months, was to find a doctor that was willing to work with him to find a diet and exercise plan that worked for him.

Don't let doctors shuffle you out of the office after giving a quick response. Look at those bills! You are paying enough to have someone truly help you.

By the way, after finding the right doctor and listening to the advice, my brother was back on his feet in about 6 weeks and now lives a completely normal life. Don't give up hope, just find the right md.

Ehhh...its tough because you have two different answers. On one hand, I would maybe try getting another option to see what another outside source says. But chronic mono/EB is difficult. I mean, with mono I believe that its always in your system regardless so I'm not really sure. I would just try to get plenty of sleep, eat right and keep the stress to a minimum.

Good luck

that is totally very resembling Mono. they could't inform you at the same time as it began or if that is going to go away. i become clinically determined with it numerous years in the past. I have Lupus. Have them provide you with a fasting blood assessments, purely to be particular that is not any longer some thing like Lupus. they could try your blood to ascertain curtain ranges on your body. Enzymes , cellular counts etc; yet you would possibly want to quick with those assessments. so as that they are finished proper.

Yep, I have EBV. It triggered off a whole mess of other autoimmune problems...Lupus and APS to be exact.

Take some extra B vitamins, get rest when you need it. That is really all you can do.
