I think it's ok, as long as ppl dont give them the exact answers. I just give em a clue. Plus, Yahoo! Answers is a free service for everyone. So you really can't say anything.

We shut down all kids avenues of connecting to the world. Then we are so surpised when they aren't productive citizens. You should show some compassion. The kids you don't help today are the welfare recipients YOUR tax dollars will be supporting (and all those kids the dropout will produce) tomorrow. BESIDES, 99.9 percent of the adults in here are asking stupid questions LIKE THIS ONE and don't know how to think.

i agree and disagree with that i mean yes they should be asking for peoples help on the hard questions but only help don't give them the whole answer.don't say 2+2=4 says if u have 2 fingures on both hands and u put them next to eachother how many do u think u will have...?

You know sometimes these children need help and they cant ask there parents i think they are very smart to ask for help i think you are the one that's asking a stupid question

well who died and made you king of yahoo answers?? It is ok for students who need help with their homework to come to this website. That's why they have a catagory for homework. If you don't want to answer homework questions then stay out of that catagory.

I fully agree... what makes matters worse is that there are some very intelligent people who jump at the chance to answer some rather elementary questions; they never seem to realize that they have just done little bobby's/ little janey's homework for them.

Of course, if folks would give an idea of where the info can be found and talk the kid through the process of finding the answer instead, it would be really great.
