When Americans want to send illegals back to where they come from its not hate that motivates us. Logic dictates that when illegals take our jobs and bring down the wages because they will work for less money and become a burdon on the tax payers by having to educate their children for free and hospitals having to provide free deliveries for babies and yes, Mexicans have bunches of babies. Then they burdon our food stamp program. Sooner or later were going to have enough. Round them up and send them back. Let them fix their own country instead of messing up ours that worked hard to make good.

1. There is a very good reason that the US set up the Immigrations Dept. Foreigners bring diseases into this country, and must be checked.

2. TB is at a high rate in the state of California, because of illegals.

3. Illegal businesses set up can pose health threats because they do not go through legal channels to set up, nor do they follow strict health codes if food is involved.

4. To give a few examples in Los Angeles over the past 10 years: An illegal ice cream stand had to be shut down. It was found that the ice cream was being made in a bathtub & had soap scum and hair in it. (I guess they got an triple F rating). Another one that got shut down was illegals making cheese in a toilet, & selling it. People were getting sick.

5. We learned from the past. The Spaniards killed off so many American Indians with the diseases they brought over. We have to observe certain protocols for public safety.

im mexican and in some way your right mexicans should really fix up their own country. the problem is that mexico is run by money they dont care about their own people. now one thing that i hate is that you generalize mexicans as if all mexicans were exactly the same. For example people that come across illigaly do it because they are ignoprant of the fact that there is a system or a proceedure you can do to get into this country legally well not anymore. but when my mother came over to the us she got a visa and a passport and then got legal papers to be able to work here. so you see the difference. when you talk about mexicans in a bad or good way say most mexicans or some mexicans dont just generalize.

In another 5-10 years, when the millions of Illegals who are already here doubles/triples in population MAYBE and that's just a maybe, these people will finally understand that no comments made were from hate but just good old fashioned "common sense"..How much can the US taxpayer continue to give from their paycheck to give these people free housing, free medical, foodstamps, free schooling etc.? Do they think the money spent taking care of all these people just falls from the sky? Are they that ignorant? Do they realize that we, the American Taxpayer are the ones shelling out the money from our paycheck? I blame the government for allowing it to go this far and I blame the Employers who hire all the illegals. And if someone can explain to me WHY they are entitled to a free ride in this country, after entering ILLEGALLY, I will gladly listen.

But the other half of the logic is: HOW?

It's impossible and impractical to deport 12 million illegal immigrants. Can't be done. We just don't have the resources.

So logic demands another solution. Allow them to come forward. Acknowledge the crime, have it go on their record, pay a fine. Pay their back taxes. And if they've committed no other crimes and have a job (and continue to pay taxes), then they have the legal right to work.

Which solves the under-the-table money problem, increases the tax pool, and doesn't disrupt the existing workforce.

I don't mind if they come into our country as long as they do it legally. Then they can pay taxes like most of the rest of us. You do realize that there are Americans that don't pay any taxes. I know because I (WAS) married into a family that never paid taxes because they did odd jobs and laid carpet and always got paid in cash.

I only have problems wtth those who bleed the system but don't pay taxes to do if.We've only ourselves to blame because americans pay them under the table to get cheap labor and they work hard doing jobs lazy americans don't want. Hey! Don't you like your freedoms and opportunties? I just say that they should be legal.

the most elegant solution would be to grant amnesty and thereby increase the pool from which to draw resources. how is that not logical? your proposal requires rounding up possibly millions of people who have been hiding here for years. it is a logistical nightmare.

You should focus your hate on the more deserving, stop these companies from hiring illegals and they'll have no reason to come...

If they pay taxes like us, then I would not have a problem!

Other than that it is not fair!
