Actually, and it's too late now, I meant to say 'If women say men don't listen, then why do women keep talking?' Too late now.

i dont hav a dad so i dont no if men tak mor or women. im a 13 boy but i hav a girl for a best frend. shes real smart shes a gifted program student an im only in sp ed so she does most of the taking. thats ok caus i feel real weak an funy whan im round her. she maks me feel good an she taks mor than me.

I wouldn't say men don't listen but I believe I know where you are coming from. Men like to be in conversations that are more focused on them. They like to see that the woman is interested in what they are involved or things about themselves. I wouldn't say that all men don't listen, perhaps just a particular one you are involved with presently.

Because they like to hear themselves talk. Men can be very insecure and it makes themselves feel good to act like they know everthing and have others think that they don't need help or advise from anyone else.

because they actually think that we are listening to them. men have whats called "selective hearing" -hear what they only WANT to hear! the more they talk, the more they incriminate themselves for something they did and didnt want us to know about. so if they stop talking, they know just how much trouble they will be into and will have to listen to us! they dont want to be in the dog house! I choose to ignore them mainly! works on my hubby...esp if I dont want to listen to him!

one of 2 reasons (which are really the same)
1) testosterone overdose
2) Alpha male syndrome: Look at me I'm the most important. No, you have to lsiten to me... etc....

for real! its bc it has to be all about them. even tho they say its us girls who have everything all about us, its the other way around a lot of times. guys never listen, and if they do, they're usually gay. i dont understand it, but we have to listen to them!? just tell em to GET BENT!!!
