to always look for the goodness in other people. To strive each day to make someone else's day a little brighter.
To love completely and without reservation.

Some good answers here!
IMHO the most important thing in life is what we leave behind- the legacy. I didn't even know I was going to type that- I had something totally other in mind. What we leave behind becomes written in the indelible record of the universe.
How do we look at what we're going to leave behind? By a lot of what everyone here is saying and writting about- essentially being true to ourselves and caring about each other and the world.
there is so much unnecessary hurting and pain when if we tried just a little harder to be kind and gentle and caring and sincere, we'd really teach something that is totally unique in the universe- the power of love. Real love, not obsession or infatuation or needs or BS or sap. Love as a paradigm of possibilities and hope- the kind of love that children always need to know about the universe to be something other than a predator or prey.
We have to do what we're here to do, and be true to ourselves.
Love can make that easier for not only everyone here, but for future generations and the world itself as a whole.
Love for architecture means beautiful places that nourish and inspire the soul. Love for cooking means wonderful food and times shared in socializing with others. Love for art means creating things that uplift and heal us and inspire our spirits to reach for the unattainable... THAT kind of love.
The ART of being awake and aware.
Got some good answers on here. Of course, not all, but a lot. *chuckle*
Now K, what is YOUR answer??? LOL!!!!

Have to say.... The articles. The Pictures are ... OHHHH, you meant... Sorry.... Um... Recognizing the little joys that are always there. We get so busy with getting things done, going to work, cooking dinner, finding the Channel we want to watch, that we forget to go outside and look UP at the stars, or the moon, or watch How birds take off when startled, or listen to the wind in the leaves of a tree, or kids laughing... The little, Beautiful moments, that repeat endlessly every day... So yeah, Looking around and actually SEEING what's there....

For me the answer is simply the relationships you have throughout your life. Once your gone the only thing that matters is what you've left behind. Not the material things but in the form of the impact you have made on another persons life.

To remain true to yourself, your family, and friends. By giving others the same consideration you would want to be shown. Whatever you attempt to do, do it wholeheartedly and as best as you can. Never pass up the opportunity to act in kindness to someone in need. A caring smile can help to lift someones spirit. And often that spirit has been my own.
Now to answer your question. Love is most important. To give, to share, and to receive.

Believe it or not the most important thing in life is your relationship with Jesus Christ. If you have ever stood by the bedside of someone dieing, you truly realize this. When the spirit of whatever makes them, them, you know there is more to life and living than we think.

The most important thing in life is giving your heart while you have the chance...and being certain that the people you give it to, know they have it...because life really is just a short skip, run and jump.
