I've been dating my girlfriend for close to one year now. We argue often, and it just never seems to cease. She never lightens up on me and would rather see me change into this person who I'am not. This is why we argue.

I tell her I cant stand it and she irrupts like a cannon. We cant seem to go two days without arguing about something. Is this normal?

Is this question to broad? If so i'll add more details.

Help

I'm 19 years old.

I would like to mention that when we argue we go for hours without speaking to one another.

I cant even touch her, or talk to her. And she sometimes thinks I'm breaking up with her when I'm actually not. I'm just showing my disregards to how she makes me feel.

UGH!

If your girl wont talk, to figure things out, why are you still with her. From what i know you need two people for the relationship to work. Why is she trying to change you in the first place? Even if you do chane, wich you chouldn't, she will end up complaining that your not the guy she first went out with. She needs to understand that who she sees in front of her is what she gets. Even then, how would you feel if you didnt like the guy she changed you into? You woukld just be making trouble for yourself. Try one last time to talk to her calmly, yelling oes not solve anything. If you cant work things out, then why are you still in a relationship that will just end in trouble? The longer you put things off, the harder things will be down th road.

We the surfers of cyber world meet with so many people every day. Surfing the net is the best pastime one can ever develop, as internet has the most knowledge, a surfer will never have to wait for a answer. The vast knowledge of cyber world is nothing as compared to the cyber society that it gives. Internet is a community but so vast that we need a place to make conversation easy. What more can be better than a chat room for this purpose, well a chat room and a message board along with a forum is the best combination really. I was actually looking for a place where we can find all these things with a profile and photo brouse option. Finally I got this site, this place is a very nice community where we can share every thing online. And also about the leader board, I must tell it is great. The thought of the leader board is unique, as not to many people has thought about this thing. And the method of getting the leader is very different and one must check out this site once. The cyber culture is growing, and it is about time that we find our club and that to a very different club, which is not a part of any big website house like the yahoo and google. This site am talking about has every thing that a cyber surfer ever wants. This is the website address, http://www.friendscyberclub.com/ Features of this site is: 1) chatting 2) view profiles and photos 3) upload your photos and make a cool profile. 4) your message board 5) forum 6) See your name on the leader board. There are also many more features available in the site, free to join.

No this is not normal. A loving and caring relationship is about building each other up, not trying to destroy them. And believe me even words can do that to a person. All couples do argue at some point, but every two days is far from normal, and far from sounding like a happy, healthy relationship.

It is normal for two people who are not compatiable to argue every two days. It seems to me there are a few questions you need to ask yourself. 1. Why would a reasonable, rational and decent person treat you the way she treats you? 2.Why do you stay in a relationship with someone who can't accept you the way you are? 3. Is there something that you need to change? 4. What do you really want?

i go through this with my guy too. we've been together for over 3 yrs and i'm 19 also. i have learned how to deal with an issue, is to wait for him to cool off, then sit down with him, and calmly talk about it. and no accusing, no blaming anything, no yelling. we'd even used to argue about who started the argument in the first place.
you have to stay calm. just let her get it out, but don't ignore her. ask her questions about it, like "what exactly could we do to stop this?" "what do you think is the best way to approch this?" and don't go off on her saying things like "Well you did this and you did that, and you started it" no blaming. just sit, and don't raise your voice. she will eventually get the hang of it if you continue to be calm. she will pick up on it, and it will make her feel bad to hollar at you if you are calm about it, so she'll stop, then you can try and talk things out.
this is the approch i took, and it has worked. although all situations are different, i cannot completely compair mine to yours. best of luck :)

Not to say I've had experience in this category, but from what I've heard, you should just be yourself. If anyone was really so attached to you, they would like you how you were, not how they think you should be. I think that the gf/bf of anyone should like them just as they are, you shouldn't have to change for anyone.

there'll constantly be matters in a dating. it incredibly is the way you shelter the matters that ascertain the result. there isn't any such component as no longer having a controversy. absolutely everyone seems to be different and that could reason friction maximum suitable to "matters". coping with those matters until eventually now they get out of hand (as long as they do no longer seem to be severe, like cheating), will advance the dating.

This question is fine. I would break it off. You need to be happy and comfortable with your girlfriend. The way I see it is that you should be excited to see your girlfriend not dread her company and wonder what the next argument is going to be about.

Sorry, but I think it is best for both you and your girlfriend.

that is not normal for a healthy relationship. She should never want to change who you are. You need to dump her.

well it's been my notion that if the woman wants you to change intto what your not, then the relationship is doomed from the get go, if she can't accept you for who you are it's not worth going any farther dude.
