*Atheist and Agnostics, where do you think you are going when *you die?

Probably into the ground like most other folks.

*Don't act like you are not scare.

Scared,no way , just think of what you did and
thought about before you were born.

*People you get and in car accident and die while you are going *somewhere. You are okay knowing that you will disappear *forever?!

No, however very little can be done about that situation.
That is a repulsive thought to " disappear forever", however
we don't have a choose in the matter.
So, no it is not okay with me , it's inevitable,

Have a blessed day.

Not scared at all. I am assuming that when I die my body will either be cremated or placed in the ground and all that makes up who I am will be recycled into the natural cycle of life. There is no reason to be scared anyway, if there is a god and that god is a loving god it wouldn't torture anyone maybe at most just allow them to just die instead of giving them an afterlife. If there is a god and that god is not loving, well, we should all be afraid if that were the case.

Although I don't necessarily find the idea of not existing some time favorable, I don't expect to be bothered by it when that does happen. There is no point in dwelling on death when that is something we all must go through eventually. I live for today and if I die tomorrow so be it, I can't control everything.

As an agnostic I have come to the much anguished conclusion that I do not know.

All are entitled to their beliefs, all are equally plausible and
possible, but nobody that has passed has definitively made a broad public decree as to what the answers are regarding what happens after your brain shuts down.

I do believe man has the ability to think and reason. All conclusions are from ones point of view. Respect mine and I'll respect yours.

I personally do not need any eternal ultimatum in order to be at peace and show my love for life.

It probably ends there. But who knows? Do you? Of course not. It is the same. But you EXPECT something. I'll just wait for that to happen and see what happens.
Of course I don't want to die. I doubt you want to. Eventhough you expect what you expect.
I don't feel there is a need to feel special as mankind. but if you need that, just believe it.
And I don't want to die because I have someone to live for!

To answer your edit: that's YOUR problem. If it is this way, we can do nothing. You are so afraid that need to creat a whole story. It is okay, if it helps you living! I don't need to creat anything. I just want to love my wife as much as I can. To make her feel loved. If I have that accident you mention... at least my life would have served something worthy. I am sorry if you don't have something like this in your life.

I don't know where I am going when I die and I am at peace with it.

I beleive that our perception of reality and consciousness of existance is limited by our material body. Upon death we lose that because the body is no longer function. What happens to whatever collection of energy that is left I do not know.

I do beleive that whatever happens we do not remember this life because our memory is strictly a physical pheomenon of our brain.

Well technically I am not either but when I explain my belief they tell me I am so despite the misuse of the word I will answer. I believe that the energy you are made of is broken down and spread out all over and parts of you become other people, animals, plants, wind, heat, water, etc. You become one with everything and eventually thru random chance eons later all the energy that makes ME will come back and make me again

You just answered your own question. To death. Unless your talking about your "soul", which doesn't even exist. And yes, I am scared to die, but not because of some silly half-cooked story about the after life. I'm just scared to leave the ones I love.

lol I have no clue. And to me, it really doesn't matter. There is absolutely NO way of knowing for sure. Besides, life would be boring if there was nothing to ponder about. I'm scared of /dying/, not an afterlife, if such a thing does exist.

I am not a believer in heaven and hell...I do believe that my energy will return to the collective conciousness of humanity. That's where I'll be...divided amongst the billions of beings still here on earth. Little bits of my energy scattered in a virtual endlessness of humanity. PEACE!

I was an Agnostic for many years, yet I had a firm belief in an afterlife. (I'm a Pagan now, and I use the term "Summerland" instead.)

I don't think you quite understand what Atheists or Agnostics are, and you should check your spelling because, "Don't act like you are not scare," doesn't make sense.
