HEY don't think bad of anyone if you haven't been in their shoes. My Grandma had her first child at 18, but she was already married and her and Grandpa were financially independent. It can happen to anyone and she was just mature and lucky to find the right man as quickly as she did! Some women wait their whole lives and never find the right guy!

What does my opinion matter? If someone is pregnant under the age of 20, hopefully they are ready for the long road ahead. I don't think I could have been a good parent at that age, but that is me. My mom had me when she was 19, and I think I turned out okay. It's all in the person.
Basically, I don't care what age one is when they get pregnant. I have seen some older people that are parents, and I would wonder why they had a kid, so age isn't the issue. It's the level of maturity. I know 40 year olds that act 12, so that should say it all.

I think it depends on how well they can parent. Probably a lot of girls under 20 aren't mature enough to parent a child (but then again many people over 20 aren't mature enough either). An unplanned pregnancy is unfortunate at any age but everyone does something in life that they aren't ready for, it just matters how you handle it.
Besides, I think that people do a great disservice to young people by not properly educating about birth control and making it available to teenagers. The reality is that kids are going to have sex and unless they can get birth control they will get pregnant.

Umm... well, I am 19 and 6 months pregnant. I have been married well over a year now. My husband is a head security guard and brings home $1,000 every two weeks, he is also 19. We paid for our own car. I was a supervisor at KMart for 6 months, until 6 weeks ago when I quit because it was too hard to work because of fainting spells. I have already been through 2 years of college. I would have been going into my third year.
...so.... I think pregnancy is great if you have the means to do it, even if you are under 20. Quite frankly, I love every minute of it and wouldn't change it for the world.

It's fine by me. In fact I was pregnant before I was 19yrs. Just not to young like the 13 year old that is way to young. I personally wanted my kids before I was 30yrs. I don't want to be a really old parent like lets say when they are 10 I'll be like 50. No way. I'm only 25 and I have 4 kids already.

Being pregnant takes alot of responsibility, you used to have to look out for just you, but now you are not alone, no matter what you do or where you go. You always have to think of your little one, and is what you are doing going to affect them. As long as you are able to comprehend these facts, it doesnt matter your age. Anyone can be a wonderful parent, at any age.

even age 20 is too young if you ask me..i have 2 grandchildren and one on the way...the first grandchild, his parents were 18 and 19...the child now 4 1/2 lives with me... i have another grandchild who was born in feb..her mother is 20 and she is on welfare..living in an area that is not so nice...and we have another grandchild on the way..the father is 23 and just got picked up again fordriving without a license...
so the asnwer to your question....unless you are a young responsible person who totally understands what it means to be a parent and what a baby and young child need...wait until you are much old..
