I am interested in how the natural world plays a role in our lives. I plant sweat peas and add lemongrass to my houseshold cleaners in the spring. I have had an amber ring that has centered me very well for the last six years and am now searching for something with a meaning more directed to the person I have evolved into. A red sun sitara,a carnilean, a chalcedony and a tigers eye have recently caught my eye and I am juggling my thoughts. I am an Aries, born on March 21 in 1978, if that helps. My favoite color is red. I'm happily married and a stay at home mom of a wonderful and terrible 2 year old, as the saying goes.

Red symbolizes fire, which can mean passion, and blood, which can mean close ties of family or friendship. It can stand for both men (according to the Ancient Greeks) and women (according to certain other prehistoric culture, including the Japanese). As blood, red represents war and aggression, but as passion, it symbolizes faith, fullfilment, and love. A struggle between people that is ultimately overcome and which may even pull them together.

Gold stone (sun sitara) is a manmade stone rich in copper. Activates root and sacral chakras enhancing the energies of intuition, sexuality, desire and vitality. Encourages faith that love is attainable once all limiting beliefs are released. Acts as a mood stabilizer on either spectrum-excitability or passivity and promotes health and vitality. It is the stone of science and wisdom, too.
