I am leaving on Tuesday for Florida, and if any of these Pakistani c ock-suckers even think twice of trying to blow up my plane, they are going to be in some deep s hit! I will not go down without a fight!! Anyway......My question is, have you flown since this happened? What do I need to know besides what the news is telling us? What can I do to make sure I am fully prepared, and have my check in at the airport go as smoothly as possible? Please be serious. Thanks

British authorities arrested 24 people Thursday in what they said was a scheme to bring down as many as 10 jetliners in a nearly simultaneous strike. The suspects were believed to be mainly British Muslims, at least some of Pakistani ancestry.

My mom flew today. They took her lipstick. That's something she didn't think of. She was angry because it is a discontinued color that she bought a bunch of when they retired the color, and she doesn't have any more. She has asthma and uses an inhaler, so she had to make sure the prescription matched her ID. You need to check everything in your purse and think about whether they might confiscate it. They are not even sure themselves about the specific rules, I think, so they are being more cautious right now. Even a week from now, I think it will be much easier to know.

Terroists just want to ruin our lives. Just go through security like everyone else and go to your gate. There's not much you can do. I have not flown since then because I do not have any where to go but if I did have someone to go, I'm not sure if I'd fly or not. It's a little scary but you do have to live life normally. Security is giong to be the biggest thing so you might want to get to the airport about 2 1/2 hours early to give you plenty of time without stressing out. Be careful what you pack(Like no lotion products on the plane now or manicure sets or nail polish) and just go through security like everyone else. Good luck and have fun in Florida!

Right now it is the inconvenience of the security checks which are a must. Otherwise do not worry about it. Who goes to Florida but a bunch of retired people so they do not want that kind of publicity. Lets not give these guys the pleasure of stopping our lives.

ok...make sure anything you have like toothpaste deodorant or any liquids or gels or sharp objects of any kind are stowed in cargo...you cannot get on the plane with any of that now...also if you smoke don't plan to take a lighter or matches with you either...just take as little as you can on the plane with you...you pretty much can tell what can be used as a weapon...the odds of a terrorist cell taking over the plan you are going to fly on to Florida is very slim..lol...especially since they would already have to be in the US....there is also an air marshall on most planes these days...mmm..about 89% i think i'm not sure anymore...you're gonna be fine ...lol

I would be more afraid of security then most terrorists right now.

Learn to say f you in arabic. That is the password to get you through security faster. (just kidding)

Actually most of the people they arrested were Brits, not Pakistanis. Pay attention.

if you are going to drink alcohol, then you need to do it before you get on the plane
