He said he blamed God because he said "It was this woman you gave me", how is that blaming God? Should I stop going to this church?

Adam was acting like a little kid. Instead of taking responsibility for his own actions, he was blaming everyone one around him including both God and Eve.

Adam was saying (incorrectly) that if God did not created Eve then he would not have been tempted.

You might look around to see what other churches have to offer.

With love in Christ.

Adam initially blamed Eve -- and then tried to transfer share the blame with God (as you mention above).

Be careful if you attend the SDA church -- some SDA churches have some rather unorthodox beliefs (possibly originating from their founding "prophet" Ellen White; some not). Some SDA churches view Ellen White as a prophet, some do not.

Cordially,
John

He blamed God basically like saying. You gave me a defective mate and now she got me in trouble. It's your fault. Go to whatever church you are comfortable with. I'm an Adventist but I also have a free mind to believe or not believe what I want. I don't believe everything I hear in the SDA church but allot of it is good and that's what I stick around for.

Some ppl say/think that Adam was standing next to eve the whole time, the serpent was convincing her/them.

"6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. "

He's actually blaming them both - in a whiny sort of way. "The woman you put here with me" - as in: if you hadn't put her here with me, well... Then he continues - "she gave me some fruit from the tree" - she gave it to me - I couldn't help it... He never does just say, Well God, I didn't really believe you, so I just decided to eat some fruit and see what would happen. You can read all about it in Genesis 3.

I havne't heard Obama say such issues. i don't know the guy yet i know others who do and that they are announcing they in no way heard him show such comments as that, in certainty he has continuously appeared actual very patriotic and prefer he feels blessed to be an American. those issues Jeremiah Write pronounced have been terrible - - as undesirable as whilst Pat Robertson pronounced 9/11 replaced into u . s . a .'s fault, of direction, the information or the Clinton marketing campaign went with the aid of years of sermons and picked out unquestionably the worst aspects. yet I somewhat have been to Trinity and Pastor Wright did not say issues THAT severe in each and every sermon. Wright is somewhat incorrect headed in some procedures yet he has completed good in different procedures. has inspired a lot of folk to enable God into their lives, to not turn your backs on others much less fortunate, and to be in charge, help their families, attempt to do properly at school & do not hear to the risky mindset that analyzing ability "appearing white". He has been lively in helping the homeless, those with AIDS and so on. And "The Audacity of desire" is a useful and useful thought and an outstanding call. yet unquestionably everyone seems to be incorrect and that incorporates ministers. BTW you have thoroughly misquoted Mrs. Obama. she did not say "I somewhat have in no way been pleased with u . s . a . in my finished grownup existence." She pronounced this replaced into the 1st time in her grownup existence that she felt rather proud. I too have felt rather proud to be sure how some distance we've come. from in simple terms 40 yrs in the past whilst blacks in this united states have been crushed, arrested, murdered for attempting to vote, and at that factor the assumption of a woman president could have in basic terms been the subject of stupid jokes....i'm rather proud the u . s . a . has now have been given to the factor the place there somewhat is an hazard for a woman or a guy or woman of shade to alter into president. and that i've got felt rather proud to be sure what share unquestionably everyone seems to be being lively politically. that would not propose I somewhat have in no way till now felt pleased with this united states's ideals and accomplishments. Nor does what Michelle Obama pronounced propose that approximately her.

That is implying that if God had not given him Eve he would never have eaten the fruit. I wouldn't go to his church, but then I wouldn't go to any church that worships the Judeo-Christian god.
