I got a call from Morrissey at 7.15 pm this evening,we've chatted for years...I used to be a roadie for 'Echo and the Bunnymen' and we did a few tours together. It's the most scary phonecall I've ever received,Steven told me that he's my real mum
I'm gutted.All these years I've called Noel Edmonds 'mummy', whether he liked it or not.
Is my mum the frontman of the Smiths or a bearded **** with no talent?
p.s New Model Army are a reasonable band,if you want to know the truth.

Never quite took to New Model Army, saw them live a couple of times way back when. Its a toughie this one, admittedly Morrisey is the cooler of the two mummies, and the (so much more) tallented of the two, but Noel, despite his naffness, has a lot of love and affection, yet Morrissey is rather guarded and aloof, not great mummy material. Would be better if he was your dad. Last saw Echo about four years ago, still awesome.
