Are people born gay? or do they become gay?
im just curious.. i have heard people say both born and become.

i think both. sometimes when they are children they can sense that something is different and that they feel a certain way for the same sex knowing that they shouldnt. But sometimes people grow up dating the opposite sex and sometimes become confused about their sexuality at some point, and when they figure it out...well thats what they are.

They haven't really found a gay gene yet, but hold on, any day now.
The brain of a gay person IS different than that of a straight, which means that somewhere in the DNA there is probably a message to that effect.
However, it's such a political thing that any fact in either direction sparks hot debate. So, they are waiting until this gene is isolated, named and fully analyzed.
There are many clues to it's existence, and it's just a matter of time before it's known.

They are both born that way and become that way. If something happens to u as a child that makes u think badly of men...u can become gay. If you are born that way it is because of chemical structures in ur brain. It has been proven.

Not sure, I do not think that people are probably born that way. Who would chose to put them self in a classification to be discriminated against, and if they could change they probably would. As a African American Female, I can not change my appearance, so people discriminate, and I can not change. Can gay people change....?, Hm, I am not sure. And by the way, I am not gay

you are born gay. it is all apart of your genetic make-up. i did not choose to be gay, i am just attracted to the same sex. society puts to much pressure on this, in the end, you are gay and the reason why should not matter. the question should be why do we only except what we are comfortable with.

God made the Man for the Woman. Woman for the Man. So God didn't make Gay People. Being gay is a Sin according to the Bible. God didn't make anyone to be gay. The problem is in the head of gay people. Plain truth.

they become gay because being gay is a lifestyle that people choose to live.. No one is born gay that is just an excuse .. Everyone decides on how to live their lives and it what way they want to live it..

Are people BORN pedophiles, necrophiliacs, and perverts? Same thing I think.
You are maybe BORN with a deviancy - if you CHOOSE to act on it - that's up to you.
Are people BORN killers and rapists or do they need to ACT on it? Again - some killer tendencies run in families.
Just because you are BORN with a tendency doesn't make it right.
