I am a 23 year old male. I feel like most of my life I have been kinda sheltered because of the fact that I am very shy and that my parents have strong beliefs about whats right and wrong. I live in a backwoods town in the northeast. In 3rd grade my parents took me out of school and home schooled me. My parents own a business and I live and work with them. We got to church on sunday and my only friends are people from church and customers I see at work. I have never had a relationship with a woman. I have never had sex and I have never masturbated. The only time I have ever ejaculated was when I was sleeping, which I dont remember how it feels because I was asleep. This has happened 5 or 6 times throught my life. Latley I have been constantley thinking about sex and masturbating. I do not want to have sex until I am happily married. But latley I keep getting the urge to want to touch myself. Since I have waited this long should i just wait till marriage? would it make the girl apprecia

In my opinion, your future wife will appreciate it if you give yourself a little attention now...or possibly a few times before you get married, if you have ethical or moral issues with it. Having an understanding of the sensation, and at least a small amount of practice so that you can be better in control will make your first experiences with your wife much better.
You might look through your religious texts, and/or ask your clergyman (or one in the next town over) for advice on what the "rules" of your faith are...I'm not familiar with any religious doctrines prohibiting it, but my knowledge is limited.
I highly recommend that you do something to expose yourself to other people. It's not really healthy for you to be so sheltered. Perhaps you could sign up for a class at your local community college or something.

WOW, some girl is going to be lucky to find YOU! Don't masturbate. If you are a spiritual person, you'll feel physically ecstatic but mentally drained and guilty. You'll open a box of worms, a door that is hard to shut because of the physical pleasure. I know because I am a Christian woman who has struggled, in and out of marriage with lust and masturbation. Keep up your good work. So, where are you going to find your wife? She will surely appreciate your purity and honesty and the fact that you waited for her!

I wished i had saved my self for my hubby...it would have made our relationship that much more amazing....Who ever you marry is gonna be a lucky women....It;s OK to masturbate......but i would hold off on the sex until your married because that will make the experience more interesting...to know that you can't be any closer to the person you will spend the rest of your life with is a true blessing. Save it kid it's worth it!!

My husband and I both waited until marriage to have sex and I know that we both have a great appreciation of sex.
Everyone has urges, though. If it gets too much to stand, I think it would be better to masturbate than to be consumed by sexual desire and perhaps go too far when you are in your first relationship.

Anyway; I would remain true to your own beliefs. In the end, if masturbating is going to be something that you regret, then I wouldn't do it. I'm sure that a girl could appreciate your high level of self-respect.
