definitely regular school. theres that wonderful feeling of not having to think about school for 2 whole months when summer comes. its funny, i was just having a conversation about this today lol. year-round school just wears you down... its like, "Wow, im wasting a whole year of my life" for both the teachers and students. 1 week off every nine weeks.. thats not much. maybe if it were like 2 weeks, then manybe itd be bearable, but only if there was a few 3 or 4-day weekend thrown in there.

I've been to both. Unless the year round school is a boarding school, I'd rather go to a 9 month school. Year round schools can really suck, especially if your friends are on a different track (the one week break is usually called track break and there are different tracks who vacation on different schedules).

Consider the Japanese foreign exchange students, going to college here for a degree.. They come here to play, because their high school diploma is the equivalent of a four year college degree, that is how intense their education is...
We pride ourselves on how "great" we are, yet other cultures are quite a bit more intelligent than we are, in a number of areas.

Average. Everyone needs a nice long break. Trust me. I come from a family of educators and we love our summers off that is true!!
