and i dont want guys hitting on me and trying to date me..i am just so over it and i am moving in less then a year and i dont see the point in starting a relationship any time soon also...so i thought i would just tell them i am already taken and so i kinda make up a bf..name, school and all that..is that weird or should i do something else?

do & say whatever *you* feel comfortable with! if you don't want to date anyone right now, don't; doesn't matter what reason you use! i have often used the bf excuse even though i didn't have one - i work in a place where i'm the only girl & 98% of the people walking thru the door are guys. many of them love to flirt & ask me out. i don't feel it's appropriate to date our customers so i tell them i'm taken. it lets them down easy & preserves the customer relationship. it's not weird at all, lots of girls do it.

Anyway, if you play it cool, and say your dating, the word will get around quickly, and you should have no problems.
