well, what is God to you? For me God is all the truth, all the love and all the knowledge in this and all universes. The divine is in all of us, whether you turn out to be a good or a bad person. All animals have psychic abilities, including the Human animal, so it's just natural. The only problem is all humans don't know how to use their ability or some use it for bad things or to take advantage of one another. So we have a choice. Animals don't do that, they do only what comes naturally. So since it's natural, and in all sentient beings, how can it be against any laws? God is not some white, European male with long straight hair.

Psychic abilities are both natural and a big temptation. A natural ability can't be against Gods laws. How they are used, may be. It is most important not to try and take personal advantage from them, for instance, if somebody tries to make money out of them, they may be tempted to invent something to tell a client, if nothing happens to 'come through' that day. Again, a psychic may be tempted to use their abilities to get power over people.
Any psychic person should ask G.d for protection and carry on as normal as much as possible, especially as some people are not psychic, but suffering from paranoia or delusions or both.

Psychic ability is not something we can obtain by will, we have them or we don't, naturally.

Therfore having them would not be against christian law as by that reasoning they would have to have been a gift from god. Use of them of course may well be against those laws.

Of course if you're Asatru like myself, then no they are not forbidden, and would be a gift from the gods to be used in accordance with the values and guidelines for living an honourable life passed down to us by Odin the Allfather.

No. Some people are born with psychic abilities. Some are very religious. Prophets , such as Abraham , Isajah , Elijah , Elisha were men of God and they can be said to be psychic. Joan of Arc was very psychic, and she heard the voice of God. Her psychic revelations were said to have come from God. Some witches and wizards are very religious ; their powers are in-born. Some use these powers to do good.

No God is love
If you have psychic abilities, he probably gave them to you
His son had them
And if you are using your abilities with love, to contact people you love, it s all done in the name of love?

I see no problem do you?

Of course not!!! God id Love, and we all have inner spiritual gifts from Him. One is being aware of Spirit. When our inner-self is trained correctly through meditaiton and 'tuned in' we are able to do amazing things: like communicating with Angels, delivering messages people, and also the miracles of Healing.

It takes time and alot of work to get there, but with Uncle Percy (perceverance) you will get there. All you need to do is know that God is Love, and from your heart know that Jesus is spiritually working and there and His Holy Spirit is His Breath of Light and Love : The Way.

Peace

No, definitely not, if you read about Joseph in the bible he was given the prophetic ability to foretell the future through his dreams.
Those abilities are from God, people have just misused them to aide in their own pleasure.

Why is it ok for Christians but no one else? Water divining is mentioned in the Bible and taken for granted as being a natural gift there, yet modern day Christians often think of it as paganism.
