right around 50%. The previous children's sex has no impact on the odds of this one's sex.

The chances of it being a girl is 50% still. It is just chance that you have 4 boys. Unless there is other reasons why, do not assume it will be a boy; there is a 50% chance of it being a girl.
To have a 4 boys in a row is 1 chance in 16; not really a good enough reason to suggest that it is a real meaningful co-incidence. Even if you had 20 boys, the chances the next time from thereforth is still 50%.
Forget the math.
What the hell are you complaing for, you should be glad to have a boy or a girl, so why ask this question? If it is a girl, your children get a sister.

You just can't tell, unless you get a scan and ask you won't know until baby is born. If you dont want to know then just buy all neutral colours and keep your fingers crossed. If its a boy and hes happy and healthy just be greatful, i can understand you wanting a girl, but sometimes its just doesnt happen.
My mum has a friend with 8 boys due to wanting a girl, and my mum had a boy who died then had 3 girls.
A friend of mine had 2 boys, her and her hubby decided that was it, even though they'd of loved a girl, then she found out she was pregnant. She got all excited when she got told it was non identical twins and one was boy but the other they couldnt tell. She bought tonnes of pink and blue, only to give birth to two boys!
you just cant tell, all the best for a happy healthy pregnancy/birth/baby. i have my fingers crossed, but expect a boy to save disappointment and then if you have the girl you so long for it'll be a gorgeous suprise.x

Don´t know, just have an ultra-sound as soon as you can, if you really wanna know....
Had 2 boys very close together, then had our last baby 6 months ago which we found about at 7 months pregnant that it was a girl, on daddy´s side, only boys, and on mine very equal(yes i know that doesn´t really matter) but couldnt have been happier...so I´m hoping that you´ll be having a girl..
I´ve also heard of women who aren´t "able" to carry girls as easy as with boys, maybe only a rumor...

I'm not really up on chance and satistics but, your most likely to have another boy. If your unsure just buy yellow bothe boys and girls have that colour, or you could wait until you have the scan which tells what teh baies sex is, then you could start buying the right clothing colour. Hope this helps xx (good luck)

With 4 boys, I'd say blue's your color!
I've got 3 boys and I come from a family of 3 girls (go figure).
I just knew the 3 was a girl, I already had pink stuff in the closet, the tech asked if we wanted to know, my hubby said yes; I said I already know; he said, oh you already know it's a boy. I was in complete shock. I just sat there staring at the roof tiles, speechless (that's a first). My hubby laughing his a.. off.
People always tell me, oh you need to try for a girl, well my Ashlyn is now Ayden, and he's as close as I plan to get.
Happy 5th!!!

An ultrasound could tell you for sure, but I got a good idea that I was having a girl by looking up old wives tales and the chinese birth chart. And my pregnancy this time has been totally different than with my boy. Hope you get what you want! Congrats!

I would not be buying pink nor would I be buying cloths to suit a boy more. if you really want to know what the sex of the baby is then have a ultrasound Good luck. A girl would be nice but as long as it is healthy that is really the main thing

I had two boys and now having a girl - your odds are still 50/50
Good luck, hope your pregnancy goes well.
Reply to chicky - was that a smart thing to say? Why is the baby bound to be retarted if its a boy. You sound like an idiot.

I could say have a scan and save all the guessing , but I think you are really enjoying that bit of it and you will have to wait. Girls don't look daft in any colour, neither do boys for that matter. Just go with your heart and you wont go wrong. GOOD LUCK FOR THE FUTURE
