Most of them are pedophiles, and a couple of them live only about a mile away from the local school.

I do have this link at work when we were searching for various background checking websites (I work in a hospital and credential physicians). It is scary, and no, this site is not a hoax. And just think how many more there may actually be since these are only the convicted/registered predators.

No idea, but now I do. There are a lot. But I wonder how many actually still live at those addresses. One is right on my small street with probably only 20 houses to choose from.

I have at least 50 within the same distance. That's because we have halfway houses in our area for sexual criminals. Lovely huh?
Oh and at least 6 of them are within 1-1/2 blocks of my home

I have looked at this site before--it is very scary--even scarier is these are the registered offenders--who knows how many more are out there that haven't been caught yet--good reminder to check it out again

HOLY MUTHAF*CKIN SHYTE!!! There are 632 offenders within 10 miles from me!!!! The whole map was all glitterred with red, yellow, and green dots!!! If this is not a joke, I am truly amazed and scared.

Good Question...No, I have no idea how many live in my neighborhood, I guess there is a way to find out..I think we should be alerted by officials when a person like this is near us..
