Wishful thinking, but no. Cancer is such an awful condition that no dr. in their right mind would want a patient to have to endure it just to make a profit.
Been there, done that, pray I don't have to do it again.

Cure? No.
But highly credible ways to reduce the risk? Absolutely.
And it's even promulgated by the American Cancer Institute and numerous other institutions. Allow me a minute introduction...
There are many different types of cancers (blood, bone, organ, etc) and various modalities for treating each. As a simple object lesson...cancer can oftentimes be traced back to oxidative stress to the cellular [lipid] membranes which can adversely impact our DNA. To neutralize or reduce this process, one must increase their level of antioxidants through the ingestion of fruits and vegetables (not synthetic supplements like A, C and E). The data is already very conclusive on this.
For your edification, I've posted some excellent research on my Yahoo Briefcase which you can freely download: http://briefcase.yahoo.com/apuzyr
There is other information there, as well, which you may also find useful pertaining to diets, building up the immune system, blood tests, macular degeneration, diabetic neuropathy, free radicals, antioxidants, phytonutrients, synthetic vitamins vs whole food, etc.

If there is we definately don't know about it. The doctor incharge of the lab I work at would be giving it to all his patients.

little known fact: sugar feeds cancer.
Cut out sugar from your diet and you won't let your cancer grow.
