Moving onward, upward and forward is what progress is all about. My thoughts are that it's best to have more responsibility than less or none at all. Do your very best and if you find that it's too much to handle, let someone know and take a step back.

“Responsibility is the price of greatness.”

"People don't understand that not only can they make a difference, it's their responsibility to do so”

“The highest praise for a person is to give them responsibility”

“A great position entails great responsibility”

Good Luck!

More money...less hours! I think your answer is obvious! You may be going through a lot physically but I believe God is making a new way for you! Don't fear getting sick. You can enjoy the extra time to rest and enjoy the extra money to fulfill some of your dreams. Congrats on the new job Chef! Now can I place my order now? lol!

Do what you feel you can handle, you are the one who has to live with the decisions you make. If you are worried about the stress of the new job and are not comfortable with, that is a sign that you should not take it. You are the only one who knows you capablilities and what you can handle.

you're old enough to handle it, give yourself credit, work hard and give it a try, good luck I'm pulling for you, I took on a job with much more stress about 5 years ago it isn't always easy but I can do this job, have confidence.
