This year Isra'a and Miraj will be on August 21/22 not sure. It's a day we commemorate Prophet Mohammed's(pbuh) miraculous journey to Jerusalem from there to Heaven.

Is it? They go by the lunar calendar. So their holidays don't coincide with our solar calendar. Much like Chinese New Year falls on different days because they go by a lunar calendar too. Why do you think 8/22 is important to Muslims?
