I usually just take their pamphlets and say "thank-you". Sometimes I just throw them away. Sometimes out of curiosity I will read them just to find out what they believe.

I will take the pamphlets. They are just trying to spread the word of God. I don't want to be mean. They probably get doors slammed in their faces and cussed out all day. If my taking the pamphlet and being nice can make their day, then I do it. I normally just throw them away. But I have been known to look through them though.

The last ones at my door backed away when I came to to answer the door as I have a habit of not getting dressed till later in the day in my free time. I answered the door wrapped up in a towel just out of the shower. They didn't stay.
I can safely say that we don't get to the pamphlet stage.

Yes, I take the pamphlet and talk to them for a little bit when I have time. I am a baptist and they are not going to change my mind, but they are only doing what they think is right so I can't be mean to them. I think it is important to be nice to everyone. However my husband will not be nice to them.

I explain to them that I have a different religion and I am happy with it. I then hand the pamphlet back and ask them to give it to someone who may be able to use it. They have always smiled and taken it back.

I sit down and read them their is a lot of good information in them.
I like to talk to them because they show you stuff in the bible and really live what they preach.
They don't go to war. They don't celebrate pagan holidays.
They don't mix pagan stuff with Christianity. They are not racist.
Just quiet little bible students who preach non violence.
What's not to like. Everything bad they say about them on here I found out wasn't true. The meanest ones knew the least about them and published lies.
Course every religion takes a beating on answers.

No! I'm wasting good rolling paper by throwing them away!

I smile sweetly at them and say,

"I'm sorry, you caught me at a bad time. You see, I'm a lesbian witch, and I was in the middle of a ritual orgy while sacrificing Christian Babies... maybe you'd like to come in and join me?"

Which usually makes them run away, screaming.
