There certainly are some very immature questions asked on here. But I think this will be a fad for a while then people, up to and including myself, will tire of the repetativeness of these foolish questions. There is the odd question that I feel good about answering; ie: there was a young girl asking for information regarding being sexual abused. I took this as a serious question and felt very good about answering it and trying to help this young lady find somewhere to turn to for help.
Also it appears to be turning into a dating service by the sounds of some of the questions.

Yes, I agree. There are always going to be bored and rather uninformed persons visiting this site. It's always wise to read and seriously consider after researching the answer given. There are always lots of people with free advice. Some purposely try to annoy! Others are just vegging! So, I scan through the questions and choose according to my interests............ya just can't control what others do!

I wouldnt say "most" maybe "some"... I have asked 2 questions so far and got some good feedback. I'm going through some issues and it was good to get responses from different people that don't even know me. I have noticed some stupid ones, but like I said, some are really good. Think of something you really want to ask, and you'll see. :)

Most are children. This service, in this area anyway, is a babysitter for 9 year olds. That makes the intellectual side of discussions a bit "challenging" (to say the least)

Why do you participate on this site if you think it's so bad? Some of the answers are very very stupid but I think on the whole we can learn a lot by browsing this site. If used correctly I feel it is very good.

Yeah, I agree. I actually try to give meaningful answers, and then go back to see the 'best answer' ended up being somthing really silly. But oh well, it definitely passes the time at work...
