Here are some new & strict rules that they're implementating in airports: for the carry-on bag, you can't bring any toothpaste, shampoo, any type of cream/lotion. Basically anything that has the same substances as what I've just described. Of course you can bring these items, but they must be in the big luggage bag that's going to be in the luggage compartment at the bottom of the plane. Two exceptions to the rules are prescribed medications and baby formula. Hope I was any help!

For now, they are banning all liquids, gels, lotions..such as toothpaste, shampoo, hair gel, shaving cream, makeup, beverages of any sort except juice and formulas for babies...but those you have to taste in front of the security people. Flights from the UK to the US are the only ones banning electronic devices. In fact, the UK is banning carryon baggage completely except for a wallet, passport, boarding pass, keys, eyeglasses, contact case and medications which all have to go into a clear plastic bag.
